On May 17 th, 2006, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia approved the license application of Bank Audi sal to launch Audi Saudi Arabia to provide a complete range of investment services.
BUSINESS ROLE
The new entity, h eadquartered in Riyadh, offers Saudi corporate and individual clients premium Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Brokerage and Private Equity services, matching best international practices with a regional perspective. It intends to capitalise on the regionalisation trend, whilst focusing on shareholders’ value, improving regulation, consolidation, diversification and increasing liquidity characterising Saudi markets:
- The Corporate Finance section of Audi Saudi Arabia consists of two main practices:
- Financial Advisory (M&A, restructuring advisory services)
- Underwriting (arranging public and private debt and equity offering).
- The Wealth Management division mainly offers wealth management (custom made advice on investments depending on clients’ risk profile and goals) and sales services (improving the Group’s placement power by developing a customer base and a broker network for channelling the Group’s products).
- Asset Management comprises a structuring and management practice focusing on public debt, equity regional funds, private equity, venture capital funds, and offering tailored portfolio management to accommodate clients’ particular needs.
- The Brokerage consists of delivering premium brokerage services to high net-worth individuals, and ensuring the proper execution of transactions related to funds under management.
- The Private Equity division focuses on creating and sourcing transactions from the Saudi market and regional markets. Its role is to create value in the companies it invests in, benefiting from potential synergies, improvement in management, and restructuring of operations.
GOVERNANCE
Audi Saudi Arabia is a joint venture between Audi Saradar Group (70%, among which 10% are set aside for an employee stock ownership program) and Saudi shareholders (30%), and is incorporated as a closed joint stock company.

BUSINESS MODEL
Audi Saudi Arabia, together with Audi Saradar Investment Bank, Lebanon Invest and any future subsidiary offering investment banking activities, will form the Investment Banking group within Audi Saradar Group.
