Beirut, December 26th, 2007 - Bank Audi and Grand Cinemas Launch Online Movie Ticketing System

In collaboration with Bank Audi sal – Audi Saradar Group, Grand Cinemas-ABC has become the first cinema chain in Lebanon to offer the E-ticket system, a new service allowing customers to reserve their movie tickets through the Internet. This procedure is now possible thanks to Bank Audi’s Internet Payment Gateway which gives all MasterCard and VISA cardholders the possibility to instantly book their movie tickets online.

This innovative technology will undoubtedly facilitate reservation procedures for movie-lovers, as it helps them to purchase their movie tickets without queuing at the box office, to select the movie and time of their choice, as well as to choose their seats in advance.

On this occasion, Mrs. Randa Bdeir, Head of Electronic Banking & Cards Services at Bank Audi sal – Audi Saradar Group, declared: “The E-ticket system offers customers a more convenient means of obtaining their cinema ticket, since they no longer have to queue at the box office. Besides, customers feel secure using their credit cards on the Internet, as the Audi E-payment system benefits from international security standard systems which protect users from fraud.”

As for Mr. Jean Ramia, Operations Director of Grand Cinemas, he commented: “We are thrilled that Bank Audi has partnered with Grand Cinemas to drive card purchases through E-ticket channel. We are constantly striving to bring added value to our loyal customers in Lebanon; our partnership with Bank Audi will contribute to have a much wider audience benefit from these advantages.”
